Disney on Ice Review: Princesses & Heroes

Disney on Ice Princesses and Heroes performed in Columbus, OH the week of February 5 – 9th. While 8 of the Disney Princesses were featured in this performance, there was plenty of adventure included to keep everyone entertained!

Scenes included Aladdin and Jasmine at the market, the Seven Dwarves working, Belle dining at the Castle, Ariel and her 6 sisters under the sea, Prince Philip fighting a dragon before saving Aurora, Rapunzel and Flynn’s duet, and of course, Cinderella and Prince Charming at the Royal Ball.

My 5 year old daughter loved the Ariel scene the best (even though Cinderella is her favorite!) It was certainly a colorful act that included Sebastian, Flounder and many sea creatures. Preceding being “under the sea,” above land, Prince Eric and his sailors put on quite the show that included acrobatics and synchronized skating – all the boys around us were certainly impressed!

My 3 year old son said he loved seeing Mickey the best. Mickey and Minnie make several appearances as they narrate the scenes throughout the show.

As with any Disney performance – you won’t be disappointed with Disney on Ice! You’ll see plenty of Disney Characters, talented skaters and a few surprises along the way… including special effects and, of course – fireworks!

Special thanks to FELD Entertainment and Irvin PR for providing us with complimentary tickets to see the show!
