Have you ever returned home from a Walt Disney World vacation and regretted not buying a certain souvenir? Have you ever wasted too much time grocery shopping instead of hitting the parks right off the bat? Nicole is here to help you! Owner of My Personal Disney Shop, Nicole can find that souvenir and ship it to you, or she can grocery shop prior to your arrival and deliver your groceries to you so you don’t have to stress about doing it yourself! We interviewed Nicole – find out more about her and her business below!
WDW Hints: What made you come up with the idea of being a personal shopper in the WDW area?
Nicole: I love Disney and I love to shop. So, I decided to put my two things I love together and now I have my new business My Personal Disney Shop. There are many other Disney fans out there that do not have the opportunity to visit WDW regularly but desire Disney Merchandise for personal use or as gifts. I would love to bring the magic of Disney to their home (US and International Orders accepted). In addition, I provide a grocery delivery service. I remember when I use to take my kids to Disney and we would have to make that dreadful stop at the grocery story to pick up food and drinks for our resort. My kids would cry because they just wanted to get to Disney. I created this service to help guests avoid this hassle. When an order is placed, I will find the best deals, such as BOGO and other sales, to maximize the guests’ money.
WDW Hints: Can you deliver groceries to off-property locations?
Nicole: Great question! Yes, I do provide delivery service to off-property locations.
WDW Hints: Which side of the business is more popular right now – shipping Disney merchandise or Grocery delivery?
Nicole: Believe it or not, both sides of my business are equally successful. But if I had to choose, shipping Disney merchandise has been a bit more active.
WDW Hints: Is it just you running the show or do you have help?
Nicole: I do have a team that loves Disney as much as I do that helps me complete my orders.
WDW Hints: Can you tell us a few of your “Disney Favorites”?
Nicole: This is a very difficult question for me since I love ALL of Disney. But if I had to choose: Park: Magic Kingdom, Resort: Port Orleans Riverside, Attraction: Soarin, Restaurant: 1900 Park Fare, Snack: Mickey Head-Shaped Rice Crispy Treat, Shop: World of Disney.
WDW Hints: What’s a favorite “hint” you like to tell others about WDW?
Nicole: A great view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks are from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.
