Disney Cruise Line… a Must-Do! (And Soon!)

How many ships can you think of where you can sail the high seas with four separate captains? Where else but Disney Cruise Line! You can join your ship’s captain, along with Captain Mickey, Captain Hook, and Captain Jack Sparrow for an amazing adventure.

Although I always recommend planning in advance for any kind of Disney trip, Disney Cruise Line is one where advance planning can really save you some money. You can certainly plan a trip last minute, but pricing for cruises tends to start at the lowest amount, and increase as more staterooms are booked. So booking early gets you the best rates, and plenty of time to save up!

Taking a cruise with Disney is the perfect way to take a trip full of Disney magic, but at a much more relaxed pace than a theme park vacation. I certainly love Disney World (and Disneyland), and wouldn’t trade them for anything, but sometimes a vacation that’s a little less hectic is nice! The benefit of a cruise is that everything is in one place. Traveling with little ones? It’s easy to head back to the room for a break or if you forgot something. On a Disney cruise there is no need to carry everything you need around with you all day! Want some alone time? Bring the kids to their clubs (no extra charge except for those under 3 in the nursery) – they probably won’t want to leave! Then you can head to the adult pool or other adult only areas of the ship. And of course, the ship will bring you to different ports of call where you can spend the day exploring, and then head right back to the ship as your home base.

This week, Disney began booking cruises for Fall, 2015 (the rest of 2015 was already available). Many of the same itineraries are available as in the past – Bahamian and Caribbean cruises of varying lengths. But there are also some amazing new options! First, there are two new incredible 10 night Hawaiian itineraries in September 2015! These cruises give you plenty of sea days to enjoy the ship, as well as four different Hawaiian ports. In addition, if you are on the West Coast, there are now some great itineraries from San Diego, CA in October 2015! And Disney is also returning to the port in Galveston, TX for November and December! This is a great option if you live in the Texas area, and flying to Florida is difficult.

And in case you missed it, back in March, cruises for the Summer of 2015 were announced. These included some great new European cruises, including the Norwegian Fjords.

If you are a Disney fan, Disney Cruise Line is a great way to take your love of Disney beyond the theme parks. And Mickey Adventures can help you every step of the way to be sure that you get the trip you want and the service you need.

This week Disney also released new Adventures by Disney itineraries. Want to learn more? Click here!
