Today I’m pleased to introduce Kristine Zikkos to you! She is the owner of Mousetastic Vacation Destinations. Like all the agents we feature, Kristine’s services are free.
WDW Hints: Can you tell us a few of your favorites?
Kristine:
Resort: I was at a AEP (agent education program) in November and we toured the resorts and I have to say that the Beach Club won me over by far! I have booked a family vacation for this coming September and we will be staying at Port Orleans Riverside in the Royal Room…stay tuned for reviews!
Month to Visit: I would have to say September! The crowds are down because most families are back in school and the weather couldn’t be more perfect! I also have to say the week after Thanksgiving is also a favorite time! All the resorts and parks are decorated for Christmas and what could be more magical than going to Disney at Christmas!! Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party is a must!
Ride: My favorite ride is “Its a small world”. I know that may seem lame, but that is a ride that I can remember since I was a kid (which is a long time ago). It is one of the original rides and it is a classic, just like Dumbo!
Favorite Character: I love all the characters each for their own personality, but if I have to choose…Minnie Mouse, and Cinderella.
Shop: I don’t have a specific favorite shop…but I have a favorite place to shop!! DOWNTOWN DISNEY!!! I LOVE DOWNTOWN DISNEY for all of the shops! You can find all your Disney wants there!!
Restaurant: Ohana’s. I used to live in Hawaii and my mom, and sister & her family still live there and Ohana’s reminds me of my family, which by the way, is what Ohana means!
WDW Hints: What hint do you like to tell others about WDW?
Kristine: While at Disney, there is almost always a cast member or two who stands out for their exceptional service and goes out of his or her way to make your trip Magical. You can return the magic by “THANKING A CAST MEMBER”. You can go to guest services at your resort or the park and fill out a Great Service Fanatic Card. WDW Hints: How long have you been a Vacation Planner?
Kristine: I have only been a Disney Vacation Specialist since August of 2012…Yep that’s it, but when you love something like I do, length of time doesn’t seem to matter. After just starting this adventure I was able to attend AEP in November, it was awesome to tell family and friends that I was going to Disney for my job!! THIS IS MY DREAM JOB!! Not very many people can say they are working their dream job.
