Disney made it’s official blog announcement yesterday that two of its most popular attractions, Soarin’ and Toy Story Mania, will both be expanded. Over at Soarin’, Disney is adding a third theatre for guests. This should definitely help ease wait times at Soarin’, which are notoriously long. The expansion should be complete some time during 2016. There have been rumors that Soarin’, which currently shows a movie allowing guests to fly over California, will change to a Florida based movie at some point in the future. There is no word on this yet from Disney.
The second expansion will take place over at Toy Story Mania. If you have ever seen the crowd of people attempting to get to Toy Story Mania at Rope Drop in the morning, then you will certainly understand the need for an additional track at Toy Story Mania. This will allow for more guests to travel through the popular attraction and will help ease some of the wait times for guests.
I think that the news of both expansions is wonderful and necessary and hope it allows more people to enjoy these wonderful attractions.
