Bringing the Disney Magic Home

There is nothing like the magic of being in a Disney Park, but not everyone is able to live nearby or even to visit as often as they would like. There are ways, however, to bring the magic of Disney home. Here are my family’s favorite at home “Walt Disney World Activities”:

My Disney Experience – With the My Disney Experience app, my kids and I can “see” what is going on at Disney World any time. When the kids get antsy in the car or at a restaurant, I’ll pull out the app and we guess weight times on our favorite attractions. (This is especially fun during peak times at the park!)

Vacation Planning Videos – I’m sure many of our readers take up Disney on their annual offer for Free Disney Vacation Planning DVDs. I know my family loves them! We’ll watch them when we need a Disney “fix” throughout the year. It’s also fun to look at videos from past years to see what has changed at Disney.

Family Photos – We love looking through family photos from our trips to Disney. It’s fun to hear what my kids remember from past trips and reminisce with them about our Disney vacations.

YouTube – Did you know you can find full length videos of almost any Walt Disney World attraction? We love to sit on the couch and pretend we’re on It’s a Small World. I’ve also found this helpful before our trips, so the kids and I can check out attractions that may scare the kids (or let’s be honest, me).

Vacation Planning – Of course, the best way to bring some magic home is to plan our next trip to Walt Disney World! Choosing the resort, picking restaurants, and planning our days is always magical!

How do you keep the magic going when you’re away from Disney World?

      Happy planning!
