Do your kids need some fun books to read this Summer? Why not try a few books meant for kids, written by kids! That’s right, 10-year old Austin Reich has authored a new series of books called, the Adventures of Real Animals in the Most Magical Place on Earth! And his 12-year old brother, Tyler Reich, has illustrated each book!
The first book in the series, entitled The Adventures of the Rabbits in the Most Magical Place on Earth, is about a bunny family living in the Magic Kingdom. However, one of the bunny children gets lost! Getting lost can be scary, even when you’re at the Most Magical Place on Earth. This heart-warming, adventurous tale is sure to please kids – and adults too!
The second book in the series, The Adventures of the Squirrels in the Most Magical Place on Earth, tells of a Squirrel family in Epcot. Sammy the squirrel befriends a boy in a wheelchair. Sammy shows us all how to treat others – even when others may be a little different!
The third book, The Adventures of the Lions in the Most Magical Place on Earth, is coming soon! And I hear books about Geckos and Frogs are next!
In addition to the story, each book contains a few fun pages at the end that contain Austin and Tyler’s top travel tips, their favorite hidden characters, and their author bios!
Probably the coolest thing about these books is that they were “created by kids, for kids!” How many kids do you know have written, illustrated and published their own book series? Not many! Walt Disney said “If you can dream it, then you can do it” and that’s exactly what these brothers have done. They came up with an idea, and executed it all the way through publication and their books are available everywhere books are sold!
