To Use an Agent or Not?
When any vacation idea arises, almost everyone starts out doing their own research on the internet. Once they figure out all that is involved, the question of whether or not to use a travel agent may come to mind. Some people choose not to use an agent, and move forward with booking everything on their own. Others decide that planning and arranging every last detail isn’t their cup of tea, and they call upon the help of a travel agent to assist them.
For a Disney Vacation – Give an Agent a Try!
When it comes to a Disney Vacation – why not try booking through an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner, also known as Earmarked? They don’t cost a dime more – their prices are the exact same as if you were to book directly with Disney. The difference is the service they can offer (at no additional cost!) They are there to assist you with Advanced Dining Reservations, the set-up of FastPass+ and My Disney Experience, reserving your complimentary Magical Express transportation, and they’ll offer advice tailored to your family size and special accommodations, if necessary. Vacation Planners may even bring up ideas that you didn’t even think to consider, such as mentioning a few touring plan ideas tailored to the ages of your children or grandchildren.

Mickey Adventures is an Earmarked Agency that consists of 20 agents. They pride themselves in offering quality, personalized, customer service. Personalized customer service holds value that not every Agency can offer. Some agencies take on a large volume of clients, offering booking incentives rather than personalized service – because, unfortunately, they do not have the time to spend on each individual client. With Mickey Adventures, you are guaranteed personal assistance in everything from dining reservations to taking care of the nitty-gritty details.
Our Experience with Mickey Adventures
I didn’t let Mickey Adventures give me any sort of special treatment… when I was ready to book, I filled out a Quote Request Form – just like everybody else. Jen Zinno, the owner of Mickey Adventures, responded within a couple of hours with my vacation quote and the next day we completed the payment process. By filling out the Quote Request Form, Jen was able to see my preferences regarding Dining, Transportation, and Tickets. I did not want the Dining Plan and specified that on the Quote Request Form. Jen didn’t say a word about the Dining Plan to me – I liked that! Other agents may still try to sell a Dining Package (because it’s added commission for them), but the agents at Mickey Adventures are respectful of their client’s preferences and won’t try to push anything that doesn’t make sense. What I did need was the Magical Express airport transportation to and from our Disney Resort. While I could have arranged this myself, it was nice to sit back and know my vacation details were being taken care of promptly and with accuracy.
During the time leading up to our Disney Vacation, I received occasional emails from Mickey Adventures that contained helpful tips or fun suggestions of attractions to visit in the parks. Each email clarified that Mickey Adventures was still available to offer any assistance before or during our vacation. Knowing these agents are available to offer help at anytime gave us peace of mind.
Mickey Adventures Books Non-Disney too!
While Mickey Adventures books all things Disney (Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, and Adventures by Disney), they can also book many other destinations; Universal, Sea World, Legoland, just about any Cruise Line, many all-inclusive resorts and hotels too! If you’re not sure – just ask!
