In June I stopped at Target and noticed they had some cute school year planners. I’ve been using my iPhone for years to keep my calendar organized, but I thought it might be nice to try paper and pencil again to keep track of life beyond calendar appointments. I remembered my friend at Migoto Chou (now MCPlanner Accesories) and how she had transitioned from earrings to planner accessories. I started chatting with her and realized that there is a whole world of planner fanatics out there. Fast forward 3 months and I’ve tossed the planner from Target. I now own an “Erin Condren Life Planner” and about $8000 worth of stickers. Thank you Etsy. (That’s an exaggeration, but my husband thinks it’s accurate.)
I just LOVE using my planner. I still keep everything in my phone, but I sit down over the weekend and look at the week ahead and plan everything that needs to get done. From PTA meetings, to grocery shopping to work, it’s wonderful to see everything in one place. And, I love all of the fun colored pens and the stickers are too fun. (Who doesn’t love stickers!?) I’ve also started using my planner to help me get ready for our next Disney trip, so I thought I’d share some of the great Etsy vendors I have found for stickers and supplies.
MCPlanner Accesories – I fully blame Amanda for my newest obsession! She was wonderful in helping me choose the best supplies. I purchased a few of her accessories and I love the Disney touch they add to my planner. The Mickey Hat and Monorail clips are perfect. I also got a few of these mini Mickey clips just to use at work. (Check them out in the header photo in this article.)
Planner Sticker Jubilo – I ADORE these stickers for every day use. The quality is perfect and I use them regularly in my weekly spreads. Clearly I didn’t show a lot of restraint when buying from this Etsy shop! No Disney here, but still fun.
Strawberry Frosted – I decided very quickly that I wanted to find some way to count down to our next Disney trip on my planner. There are A LOT of Etsy vendors who offer countdown stickers, but I feel in love with the ones from Strawberry Frosted. They fit perfectly in the book and have Mickey and Minnie. I love that they actually say “days” as opposed to some that just have numbers. They even customized the wording on some of them for me since I didn’t need all of the ones offered. I switched out “Book flights” and “Animal Sitter” to “8 Weeks” and “9 Weeks”.
Plan with Pizazz – Ok, I just love these adorable weekly kits for my planner. From Up and Snow White to Disney Villains and Star Wars, there are stickers here for any Disney fan. Kristen was so sweet and added a sheet of mini countdown stickers to my order. They are perfect for the monthly spread.
These are perfect to use every day on a monthly spread
Now that I have my countdown stickers and my Disney theme stickers scattered throughout my planner, I will focus on ways to use the notes section of my planner to help with Disney planning:
- The notes section is the perfect place to keep my packing list for our upcoming trip.
- Our FastPass plans and dining reservations are easy to keep track of in a planner.
- I’ve started a gift list as well
I highly recommend all of the shops I have listed as well as the Erin Condren planners. If you’re interested in getting one, here is a $10 coupon.
Do you have a favorite shop for Disney stickers? I’d love to see!
Happy planning,
Amy
