I can hardly contain my excitement over my latest Disney find, Mickey Monthly and I’m just as excited to share this fantastic, fun service. We have all seen monthly subscription services that offer wine, fruit or other goodies sent to your home monthly. Mickey Monthly sends a wonderful selection of Disney products directly to your home through their subscription service. That is a subscription meant for me! I nearly fell out of my chair with excitement when I read the descriptions of what they offer. Mickey Monthly offers three different styles of subscription boxes.
The Original Mickey Monthly boxes feature licensed Disney products with two different size boxes, Classic or Magic, to choose from for your subscription. You can narrow down your selection with a box geared towards boys, girls or adults. Prices currently range from $19-$39 per month. These are considered value boxes as you get 130% of what you pay for the product. We could not wait for our first box to arrive. If you know the anticipation of waiting for a Disney trip, this gave us a similar sense of anticipation checking the mail every day. Here are the goodies we got in our original Mickey monthly:

The Pin Edition covers everyone from the casual pin collectors to fanatic pin traders. There are a variety of options from gently used pins to highly sought after limited-edition pins. Prices currently range from $7.95 to $29.95 per month.
Understandably my favorite, the Theme Park Edition features “100% authentic, Disney Parks merchandise. All items are purchased on Disney Property.” The folks at Mickey monthly go to the park directly to buy the items for the subscription, pay retail and pack and ship the boxes directly to you. Because of the amount of time and effort put into these boxes, you receive between 55% and 75% of the retail value of the items included. Honestly, it is amazingly exciting for any Disney fan to get a box full of surprises from Disney World and I know that Mickey Monthly works hard on these boxes, so I understand the pricing. Prices range from $29.99 to $199.99 for a massive family sized edition. We loved our “Castle Size” Theme Park box:
I have to say with all the goodies, my favorite was the simple Mickey krispy treat from Walt Disney World. When I worked at Walt Disney World doing the college program, my manager on Main Street used to bring us krispy treats every night after closing. They bring back such fond memories of a wonderful time in my life. My family and I always get one on Main Street when we visit. We look forward to that small treat all year. And, here was a krispy treat right in our home. What a wonderful treat.
The Castle size edition we received currently runs $79.99 per box. That’s steep but it was just so fun to receive and, in my opinion, it is worth the price to receive items directly from Walt Disney World. With the option to cancel anytime these would also be great as a one time treat. The larger sizes are clearly designed for Disney fanatics.
I think the Mickey Monthly series are great for:
- Any Disney fan who can’t get to the parks regularly and wants a fun treat.
- Parents looking to send their college age kids a gift.
- Grandparents looking to send their grandchildren gifts.
- Anyone looking to buy holiday gifts directly from the parks for someone else can get the subscriptions and sort items to give as gifts.
- Husbands or wives looking for a surprise for their spouse. (Valentine’s Day, anyone??)
- Any Disney pin trader.
- An amazing birthday or holiday gift for a loved one.
Overall, I just adored our Mickey Monthly boxes. The anticipation of waiting for Disney gifts knowing that they came directly from the Disney parks can’t be beat. I highly, highly recommend Mickey Monthly for any Disney fan. You won’t be disappointed. As their tagline says, Mickey Monthly is the “Ultimate Cure for Disney Withdrawal.”
