Disney on Ice Review: Let’s Celebrate!

Last night, I had the opportunity to attend Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate! at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL.  It was a fantastic show for all ages, which showcased holidays and celebrations from around the world.  The audience filled in quickly close to show time and many children in attendance came dressed in their best Disney-themed attire.

The show began with a large variety of Disney characters inviting the audience to “Be Our Guest” as they journeyed through many special celebrations and events, with Minnie and Mickey as their guide.  Alice and the Mad Hatter arrived just in time to celebrate a Very Merry Un-Birthday and they were sure to invite the audience to celebrate along with them.

The next stop was Halloween Town for a special Halloween party with Jack Skellington and his closest villainous friends.   This was my favorite part of the show, by far.   I the storyline that was put together for this set and I especially loved seeing all the villains, who are not often showcased.

After intermission, we traveled around the world to a Luau in Hawaii with Lilo and Stitch, Carnival, the Coming of Spring in Japan, the Chinese New Year featuring Mulan and Mardi Gras featuring Tiana and Prince Naveen.  The show concluded with a Christmas Party, featuring the Minnie, Mickey, Santa Goofy, Pluto, Daisy and Donald and their favorite Toy Story pals.

I would highly recommend this show to any Disney lover.  The elaborate costumes and sets, as well as the graceful ice skating of the talented performers, came together to captivate the entire audience.
