Walt Disney World and Disneyland are getting ready for two 24 hour events to help kick off summer! Walt Disney World will celebrate the beginning of Memorial Day weekend with a 24 hour at the Magic Kingdom beginning at 6am on Friday, May 22. Disney has offered this wildy popular event during Memorial Day weekend the last few years. Guests have loved the all night option and many have stayed the entire 24 hours.
We’re kicking off the summer with an all-night party at the Walt Disney World Resort. Magic Kingdom Park will be open to guests for 24 hours of nonstop fun from 6 a.m.-6 a.m. May 22-23. Guests are invited to dress to show their Disney Side while a selection of favorite attractions, entertainment, merchandise, food and beverages will be on tap all night long to celebrate the start of the “Coolest Summer Ever” at Walt Disney World Resort.
Disneyland is kicking off it’s 60th anniversary celebration with a 24 hour event the same weekend in May. Guests at the event will be the first to experience the all new “Paint the Night” nighttime LED parade as well as the “Disneyland Forever” fireworks show. As if that wouldn’t be enough, that weekend also kids off the new “World of Color” show.
“World of Color – Celebrate!” illuminates the night in a fun-filled and inspirational journey exploring Walt Disney’s decades-long legacy of memorable animated moments and his dream of Disneyland park.
I have been intrigued by the 24 hour events they past few years they have been offered at Walt Disney World. I could happily spend a full 24 hours at the Magic Kingdom people watching, going on rides and of course, eating. It sounds like a dream come true! Have you attending one of the 24 hour events at Disney? Will you be there this May?
Happy planning,
Amy
