Disney fans… you’ll want to add this 4-disc CD set to your wish list (Christmas and Hanukkah are coming up – hint hint!) Take a look at the Disney Classics Box Set!
Released on November 11th (2013), these 4 CD’s contain over 90 classic Disney songs, that span nearly 90 years of of Disney productions! The four CD’s are entitled “Disney Modern Classics,” “Disney Timeless Classics,” “Disney Theme Park Classics” and “Disney Television Classics.”
We recently had a 9 hour car drive for a family reunion, and this collection of Disney songs was a life saver in the car! We enjoyed the modern classics the most, but each CD is unique and you’ll quickly find many favorites to play over and over.
Disney did a great job picking out which ‘classic’ songs to put on each CD. I was thoroughly pleased, and can’t think of a song that they missed! Some of our favorite songs that the collection includes are: I See the Light (Tangled), Dig a Little Deeper (The Princess and the Frog), When You Wish Upon A Star (Pinocchio), A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (Cinderella), Soarin’, Golden Dream (The America Adventure), and Winnie the Pooh (Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree). That’s just a drop in the bucket! I didn’t find myself skipping to my favorites, as each song is truly enjoyable!
Retailing at $49.98 (but currently $32.60 on Amazon as of Nov 27), you’ll make any Disney fan happy giving this set as a gift (or put it at the top of your wish list and nonchalantly show it to your spouse or friend.)
Finally, when you purchase the set, you’ll receive a code to download a “Disney Classics Medley” sung by You-tube sensations Alex G. and Peter Hollens. This little number is fun and catchy, and features 5 songs from the Lion King, Aladdin Pocahontas, the Little Mermaid and Beaty and the Beast.
