WDW Hints: Tell us your Disney favorites…
Christina: My favorite resort is Port Orleans Riverside! I love the beautiful property! After a hectic (but fun) day in the park it’s nice to return somewhere that feels serene and relaxing.
My favorite attraction is Kilamanjaro Safari in Animal Kingdom. I love how close you get to these amazing animals! On our last visit, we had to wait for the rhinos to move off the path. They were sooooo close!
My favorite restaurant is Ohana! The atmosphere is fun and lively and the food is fantastic! I love all parts of the meal- but oh, that bread pudding!
My favorite snack is the carrot cake cookie from Writers Stop in HS. The cake-like cookie is full of flavor and is so moist! Then inbetween the cookie layers is inches of cream cheese frosting! It’s an amazing snack!!
My favorite character is Lilo from Lilo and Stitch. I love her quirky and adventurous personality!
My favorite time to visit WDW is in the Fall! The parks are decorated, the weather is milder, and the crowds are a bit lower. Totally worth pulling the kids out of school for a couple days!!
WDW Hints: What tip or hint do you like to give to your clients?
Christina: A tip I love giving to my clients is loading up on inexpensive souvenirs before you go on your Disney vacation.
Glow in the dark wands, bracelets, etc… The dollar store is the best! We like to surprise the kiddos with these little treats along the way- which they love and it helps keep their urge to spend-like-crazy at bay a bit!!
WDW Hints: When working with clients, how do you approach planning their vacation?
Christina: When I start working with a client to help them plan for a Disney vacation, I always like to make decisions one at a time. There is a lot of information out there, which can be very overwhelming- especially to a first time visitor. I feel like when we cover things one at a time- we’re able to cover more details and in the end, I think it helps them feel more comfortable with their decisions!
WDW Hints: What’s the best part about your job?
Christina: The best part of being a DVP is helping clients vision for their vacation come to life! After all the planning is done, reservations are made, itineraries set up- it’s fun to see how excited they get about it all!
WDW Hints: What’s the worst part about your job?
Christina: The worst part is that I’m constantly thinking about Disney vacations and how I wish I was going, too!!
(Yes, we realize that last question was a mean one… 😉 But Christina handled it beautifully!)
