I’ve never used a Travel Agent to book my Disney Vacations. Why? Because I thought they’d tack on fees or hidden charges somewhere – they’ve got to earn a commission, right? So, I’ve always booked my vacations online through DisneyWorld.com or by calling. But, I recently realized my assumptions were dead WRONG!
When using a no-fee Disney Travel specialist, there aren’t any extra costs built in! It’s all FREE! Let’s say you’re going to book a Disney Vacation yourself using DisneyWorld.com. You pick out your resort, your choice of tickets, you reserve your magical express transportation, you make all of your own ADRs, and you pay $3,000. OR you could use a no-fee Disney travel agent, and still pay $3,000 (not a penny more!) and they’ll do all of that same work for you! Plus, some agents will throw in some extra perks, such as free autograph books for your kids, or a Disney gift card for you. They’ll also be happy to give you recommendations and other helpful tips. Sounds like a good deal to me!
So how do these agents make money? Well, Disney pays them a commission after your trip has been completed. So, you can either book your vacation directly online or book through a no-fee travel agent… either way, you’re paying the same price, but by going through an agent you’re saving time and gaining a beneficial service of helpfulness!
One last word of advice, when searching for a no-fee Disney agent, be sure to look for terms such as “no-fee service,” or “Authorized Disney Vacation Planner,” etc. to be sure that their services are indeed free, resulting no extra charges. If you’re unsure – ask them flat out when first contacting them.
