Do you like to bring your own shampoo, conditioner or hand soap to Disney? No judgement here, if you do! Many people have their own preference of products to use, while others are perfectly happy with what Disney supplies them – some of you are TOO happy and hoard those sample-sized soaps, shampoo, shower gel and conditioner bottles! ;o)
HINT: Did you know that the soap, shampoo and conditioner that Disney supplies you with NEVER goes to waste?! Disney has partnered with an organization called Clean the World which re-batches, sterilizes and eliminates pathogens from those sample-sized amenities (whether you used them or not) and redistributes them to underprivileged countries as well as homeless shelters. So don’t feel as if you have to use the Disney-provided soap or shampoo – they won’t go to waste if you leave them behind! [Source: page 285 of the Magical Mouse Schoolhouse book!] If you like to collect the soap and shampoo to use at home, or donate to special causes such as Operation Christmas Child – that’s Great!! We do that too.
