Have you checked out Animal Kingdom Lodge yet? It is such a fun resort with lots of things to see and do. Don’t forget that just because you aren’t staying there, doesn’t mean you can’t visit. If you are staying at any one of the Walt Disney World Resorts, you have the opportunity to visit and tour the other on-site hotels. I had the opportunity to stay at Animal Kingdome Lodge – Kidani Village this past weekend and can’t wait to share some awesome tips and fun activities with you!
Savannah: Over 30 species of wildlife roam the savannah, which can be viewed from multiple viewing locations and some of the rooms throughout the resort area. I saw zebras, kudu, giraffes and storks (just to name a few). In the evening, you can sit out on the deck, by the campfire, and watch the animals through night-vision goggles, provided by a cast member at the resort.

Hidden Mickey Hunt: Ask the front desk for a hidden Mickey map and they will give you a list of clues to help you on your hunt.

Restaurant Tour: A free tour begins each day at 4:00pm at the Boma Podium. It runs approximately 30 minutes and is open to all guests of Disney resorts. During this tour, guests have the opportunity to take a closer look at the decor and enjoy a few samples along the way.
Pool: A beautiful pool with waterslide, kid’s play area, hot tub, fitness center and more can be found at Animal Kingdom Lodge. They play an evening movie on a large screen set up beside the pool and sometimes even roast marshmallows over a camp fire.
